How does Brand Fuel keep my data secure? Does Brand Fuel sell customers'
information to third parties?

Brand Fuel hosts online company stores hosts at a secure hosting center based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Our online stores provide the stability, reliability, and functionality you need. Your organization will never have to handle the day-to-day worries of keeping servers running smoothly and securely. Multiple T-1 connections ensure that visitors can get to even the busiest pages.

Brand Fuel uses Authorize.Net to process credit card transactions in our online stores. As the leading provider of Internet-based transaction services, Authorize.Net safeguards data using SSL software, firewalls and other security technology, and a locked data center with limited physical access.

We never sell online store customers' information to third parties. Specifically, Brand Fuel is committed to the following Privacy Policy, which is linked to every page in our online stores:

Brand Fuel wants you to be aware of what we do with the personal information that we gather when you visit our sites. More specifically, we want you to know what we don't do with that information.

How does Brand Fuel handle fulfillment?

Brand Fuel completes all order fulfillment tasks within our fulfillment center, located at our secure Raleigh, North Carolina, headquarters. As each order is processed, we authorize credit card payments through our online secure merchant gateway, provided by Authorize.net.

  • Check-outs link directly with Brand Fuel's internal operations, and each order is seamlessly communicated for fulfillment.
  • All in-stock merchandise is shipped within 24-48 hours of ordering (on business days; Saturday and international shipping is available upon request).
  • Customers receive e-mail notification when their order has shipped.
  • Each shipment is given a tracking number to ensure proper delivery.

Only authorized representatives from Brand Fuel Promotions have access to warehousing areas and to real-time inventory and order tracking information. All inventory in our fulfillment center is fully insured.

How would my online store get stocked?

Every product in your store conveys a message! When you open a Brand Fuel online store, your account executive will work closely with you to select products that match your organization's culture.

He or she will also recommend decoration solutions, optimal inventory levels, and retail price points for all items in your inventory.

Our recommendations will probably include the following:

  • Stock your store with high-quality items. If your products look or feel cheap or don't wear well, your sales will fall off quickly.
  • Even though it costs more, choose embroidery over screenprinting for most products. Embroidery lasts longer and says ìquality.î Plus, embroidery minimums are usually lower than screenprinting minimums.
  • Don't put too many small sizes into inventory. Large and XL sell four times as many pieces as medium and XXL.

Online store inventories must be kept fresh. Your Brand Fuel account executive will guide your purchasing levels to ensure that inventory turns over several times each year. He or she will also recommend that you feature promotional and clearance sales for inventory that needs to sell more quicklyóor that you discontinue some items altogether.

Using our online store software, we will set electronic ìtriggersî that notify you and your account executive when inventory of any item falls below a predetermined level. And, our monthly reports help you and your account executive track how well your inventory is moving.

Will Brand Fuel help market my online company store?

Marketing is critical to the success of any online company store. Brand Fuel's in-house marketing department works closely with each online store client to formulate marketing strategies and goals for site traffic and sales. We've used the following marketing techniques, among others, to help each of our stores succeed:

  • Variety: Keep the store looking fresh by changing the image on the index page
  • Direct mail: Send periodic mailings to the store's target audience. Might include a product like a super-sealed magnet printed with a screen shot of the site and a list of its offerings.
  • E-mail campaigns: Perhaps the client already has an e-newsletter, or is looking into starting one. Mentioning the store and linking to it can drive traffic very well.
  • Coupon: A coupon could be distributed to the target audience.
  • Press releases and ads: These are the basics of good promotions and public relations.
  • Links: The client's partners and associates might link their sites to the store.
