Green:

The Fulfillment Center has received a Green Plus Certification. The certification was awarded based on outstanding business sustainability performance, which includes: social, economic, and environmental sustainability.

Highlights

• Stamp packages with a “Green Stamp of Approval”, signifying that the package came from an environmentally-friendly company.
• Use of a battery-powered forklift instead of gas or propane.
• In an effort to be a carbon neutral office, carbon offsets have been purchased.
• Use of a programmable thermostat; the office is cooler during the day and warmer at night when not in use.
• Use of electronic invoicing procedures.
• Corporate mandate for all solid waste to be accounted for by the warehouse staff. There has been a reduction of solid waster by 15%  over the past two quarters and now all cardboard products that are not reusable are recycle.
• Never use Styrofoam peanuts and only utilize post consumer recycled paper for protective packaging, along with recyclable bubble wrap.
