HHPLIFT is a social enterprise located in Chicago’s East Pilsen neighborhood with a mission to forge economic independence through workforce and business opportunities for people overcoming barriers to fair wage employment.

The key? Sustainability. Both environmental and social.

While purpose is certainly becoming a trend among buyers, heightened in light of the Covid-19 pandemic and among the newest generation entering the workforce, it’s far more than just a buzzword. At HHPLIFT, we bring sustainability to all of our products: our in-house LIFT™ and ecoLIFT™ lines as well as brandable goods from our social enterprise partners. Our in-house lines are made by LIFT™ Program associates as a part of our career development program.

So far in 2021, 46 people overcoming barriers to fair wage employment, from organizations such as Cara, Transition2Work, and READI Chicago, have participated hands-on in the LIFT™ Workshop, producing and assembling our lines; cross-training in other parts of the business; and engaging in career development, leadership training, and educational opportunities.
