How do you tell your clients "Thank You" virtually while still offering a personal touch?
With the overwhelming return of "lumpy mail" as a tool for getting the attention of clients, we knew we wanted to send a gift to our friends to show our appreciation. The gift would reflect our company values and be appreciated by those who receive it, but it also needed to allow members of our sales team to personally thank them for a great year, despite being remote.
Brand Fuel created a Phygital direct mail campaign, enhanced with video.
Over the past couple of years, QR codes have become an important part of our daily lives. We are big believers of the once-made-fun-of tool. The time was right to develop a campaign that used the power and convenience of QR codes to direct recipients to a personal video from their Brand Fuel sales team.
Fourteen unique landing pages were created; one for each account manager. Each account manager or team recorded a video for their landing page that expressed their gratitude and featured their individuality, sincerity, and humor.
In addition to a Phygital strategy, this campaign demonstrates our commitment to improving the world through BrandGood. The gifts in this campaign were handmade by our nonprofit partner, HHPLIFT. HHPLIFT’s social enterprise employs underserved communities through fair wage employment and workforce development.
Our intent with this gifting campaign was to engage with our clients through direct mail AND virtually. To show them our gratitude and to strengthen and personalize relationships. Our goals were not about ROI; rather they were focused on ROE, a return on engagement.
Based on the interaction between our account manager teams and their customers as a result of this campaign, we were ecstatic with the results and were thrilled to be given opportunities for building similar campaigns for their audiences.
