In 2004, Lance Armstrong’s Foundation, in association with Nike, created the Livestrong bracelets. They sold 80 million bracelets which created over $500 million for cancer research! [Sadly, Lance’s quest for personal gain ruined one of the most inspiring charity-retail partnerships and fundraisers ever.]

In 1917, The Girl Scouts created their first fundraiser in a high school cafeteria in Muskogee, OK. Girl Scout Cookie fundraising is impressive, selling 200 million boxes a year to gross $800 Million in annual sales!! It is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world. Importantly, proceeds stay in local communities.

Launched in 2017, The “This Shirt Saves Lives” T-shirt fundraising campaign for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospitalwas introduced. The shirt is worn and promoted by celebs like Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, Kelsea Ballerini, Jelly Roll & hundreds of others. Over 1 million shirts have been sold through a $19 monthly donation commitment. This equates to over $14 million raised!! Through these funds, St. Jude has helped increase the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% – with no plans to stop until no child dies from cancer.

And now, at Brand Fuel, we are asking ourselves the question, “Can we be a part of creating the next Livestrong bracelet, Girl Scout cookie or ‘This Shirt Saves Lives’ campaign?” We’re fortunate enough to manage global nonprofit merch programs through our online store program for amazing nonprofits like:
