What I want to be when I grow up: Do you ever drive through neighborhoods and see older generations sitting in likely their favorite spot, in their favorite chair, hopefully enjoying their favorite drink and favorite meal/dessert, wearing their favorite most comfortable shirt, and just taking in the day, nature, sounds, people passing by, reminiscing on life… peaceful and content is exactly what I want to be when I grow up.
Favorite moment: Becoming a mom has been my most favorite and rewarding moment in my life to date. I am very blessed with two amazing daughters who are my whole world.
Favorite Place to Travel: Nashville, TN, Traverse City, MI, and Malta are my favorite places to date. Still on my bucket list is Hawaii, Alaska and Ireland.
Funniest moment on the job: When I was pregnant, I was at a tradeshow and tried a new product from Maple Ridge Farms (MRF) – Bourbon Cordials. Let me remind you I was pregnant so I was very excited to see MRF at the event and of course didn’t read any labels… I just wanted to enjoy their beautiful display (for the baby of course). I instantly tasted the bourbon flavor after chewing through a mouth full of cordials and spit out the chocolate in front of the entire room as they were in the middle of a presentation. After everyone was done laughing, they shared it was a non-alcoholic treat but wanted to see my reaction first. That was a good one… the chocolates that is – highly recommend!
Dinner guest choice: I would do anything to have a meal with my grandmother again. I always enjoyed the way she would let me be unapologetically me, and then would share her wisdom gained through her experiences which taught me we’re all human, and life is what you make it and should be enjoyed in every way (especially through food!).
