Biography

Originally from New Jersey, Diane was shocked to find out upon relocating to North Carolina in 2000 that she had an accent! Spoiler Alert! After all these years in NC, she has yet to shake her Jersey vocal roots! Diane “single mom raised” two sons and a daughter. All three are college graduates from 3 different NC Universities. She is very proud to have birthed such awesome humans who are productive members of society and her reasons to smile. Empty nesting was rough, but she was fortunate to have her goldendoodle, Cookie, to keep her company.

Diane is an extrovert who was once told, “you could have a conversation with a fence post!” which makes her perfect for the role of Director of First Impressions at Brand Fuel. She successfully made the transition from 17 years of teaching elementary and preschool students to her current role with this super cool company. Instead of working with kids, she now is delighted to be working with adults who are most definitely in touch with their inner child!

Diane is a creative soul who enjoys any art project or creative challenge. She has a pretty impressive Converse Chuck Taylor collection which currently stands at 21 pairs. Diane struggles when asked her favorite  “anything” as she sees life as a buffet to be sampled and enjoyed. Why must we choose only one?! She enjoys puns, taking selfies with her dog as well as random things she thinks would be funny, and believes that any kind of cheese makes everything “bettah”. In her rare downtime, Diane enjoys baking for those she loves (to spread the yummy calories around), watercolor and acrylic painting, reading a great novel outside soaking up some sun, and discovering binge worthy shows.
