Biography
I am originally from Rockingham NC. My dad was in the Army, so I have lived all over the US and spent most of my childhood in Germany. My father got stationed in Newport News, VA and ended up retiring there. I graduated high school and attended college at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA with a Double Major in Music Performance and Education. While in college, I studied clarinet under the direction of Dennis Zeisler. I continued to play clarinet professionally with the Virginia Wind Symphony for several years. I began singing in 2007 performing in churches, weddings, as well as other events in North Carolina, Virginia, DC, and Georgia. I am a member of the esteemed Duke Chapel Choir. Chapel Choir has allowed me to tour Germany, perform at Carnegie Hall, tour Spain and find a group of people who are truly blessed to make amazing music. I am also the lead singer and co-founder of the band For Good Measure. I have two cats and a partner whom I love very much. I love life and follow my passion.
