Biography
After 5 fabulous years at East Carolina University (ECU), Reid made his way south to Atlanta where he sold his first t-shirt to Turner Broadcasting in 1992. Over the next 30 years, Reid sold a few more shirts & hats, started Maxwell Marketing with his father & brother, opened up two Mellow Mushroom restaurants and became a dad of three: Carson (22), Lily (20) and Sam (18). Over his journey, Reid also served on the ECU Foundation Board for 12 years…serving as Board Chair for 2 years. Reid has also been an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society (ACS) since 2008, serving as Board Chair of North Carolina twice, helping them launch 3 successful ACS golf events. Outside of the exciting world of brand merchandising, Reid loves tailgating, the beach, biking, cooking and finding a good seat at any local brewery.
