Biography

Robert is responsible for overseeing a wide range of company functions. In addition to managing the company’s Virginia location, he utilizes his academic and professional financial expertise to further Brand Fuel’s growth and secure its position as a leader in a rapidly growing industry.

Before he and Danny co-founded Brand Fuel in 1998, Robert spent four years honing his financial skills and business insight as a stockbroker at A.G. Edwards. While there, he focused on tailoring portfolios to meet the specific needs of a range of clients – a skill that he applies at Brand Fuel daily. And, as the voice of Public Radio’s 6:30 A.M. daily “Pre-Opening Stock Market Report,” Robert provided market commentary and daily economic news updates to the community.

He is the past President of PromoKitchen, the industry’s leading non-profit focusing on education and mentorship, and enjoys helping grow Reciprocity Road, a ~300,000,000 distributor-supplier partnership with a strong community support component.

Robert earned his MBA from William & Mary, with a concentration in finance and marketing, and his undergraduate degree from Hampden-Sydney College.

His interests outside of work include running, canoeing, skiing, coaching, and spending time with family. Robert has a long and varied history of civic volunteerism and community involvement. Industry leadership and involvement includes various PPAI and ASI committees, awards, and recognition.
