Biography

Although born in Houston, Texas, Shane grew up a Navy brat and moved all over. After graduating from Kellam High School in Virginia Beach, he enlisted in the Navy as a 4th generation sailor. During his time in the service he visited places like Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Diego Garcia, Singapore, Australia, Hawaii, Florida, etc… While serving in the Navy, Shane was able to serve aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Carl Vinson alongside his father. After getting out, he worked several retail jobs and was discovered by the General Manager of NorthStar Sportswear who eventually hired Shane to be a Military Sales Representative for the company. That was over 25 years ago, and Shane has been working in the promotional products industry ever since. He has been married to Sheri for 25 WONDERFUL years and they have 3 adult children, Philip, Noah and Sydney as well as 2 grandchildren, Nicholas and Charlotte. When Shane is not working, he teaches an Adult Small Group on Sunday mornings at his church as well as helps teach a Bible Study on Wednesday nights. He loves attending sports events and can often be found at Harbor Park watching the Norfolk Tides or out playing disc golf. His motto is “Passion breeds enthusiasm, and enthusiasm is contagious.”
